You said it perfectly. You do not BELIEVE. That requires a conscious act. You may as well have said, "I believe that there is no God."

You cannot understand Jeremiah 8:8 if you do not accept I John 1:8 (If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.) and Romans 5:8 (But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.)
You worship yourself (your intellect) and serve your god (Satan). Jesus died for you, but Jesus will allow you to spend eternity with your god.
Jesus gives you a choice-heaven or hell. If you choose not to believe heaven and hell are real, your BELIEF determines where you will spend eternity.
