Darwinism has a dilemma and evolution reaches a dead-end by the old question, “Which came first, the chicken or the egg? Only a fanatical True Believer in Evolutionism (TBE) would try to say it was the egg. The esteemed Smithsonian Magazine (https://www.smithsonianmag.com/smart-news/problem-solved-the-egg-came-first-6910803/) gives this answer:

(T)he chicken and egg question has been solved. The egg wins…First, like everything else, chickens evolved. At some point, a not-chicken became a chicken. And that chicken had to have come out of an egg, which existed before the not-chicken.
