DARWIN IS DEAD AND SO IS DARWINISM

by Karl C. Priest and Dr. Joseph Mastropaolo February 26, 2010

There has been much hoop-la about the 150th anniversary of the publication of Charles Darwin's book On the Origin of Species by Means of Natural Selection, or the Preservation of Favoured Races in the Struggle for Life and the 200th anniversary of Darwin's birth.

I have a copy of the book and have read it. I urge people to read it—it makes no mention of origins of life. It is chocked full of speculations and common sense observations. The book is the basis of atrocities of despots, eugenics, abortion, and racism.

Because Darwin is dead and so is Darwinism one final ceremony was in order and the day was declared Death of Darwinism Day.  In a symbolic gesture—sort of like "hanging in effigy"-- the long overdue interment of evolution has been completed..  Appropriately, there were be several days of viewing an open, empty (except for a copy of the book) casket, for evolution was imaginary from its conception.  Incense was burned nearby to overcome the stench it has needlessly caused these past three plus centuries.

The choir sang two hymns: "Poor Darwin Is Dead," sung to the tune of "Poor Judd Is Dead" from the musical, Oklahoma; and "Ding, Dong Evolution Is Dead", sung to the tune of "Ding, Dong, the Witch Is Dead" from the Wizard of Oz.

Skunk cabbage was the plant of choice for anyone thinking of sending some adornment for the service.

The burial and graveside service was done at an undisclosed location to prevent Kanawha County Schools’ practitioners of yoga from performing mystical chants and to prevent delusional Darwinists from coming (at future times) during a full moon to engage in occult rituals.

Since the controversy is between the anti-science, evolution, and the science, devolution it is suggested that Darwin Day become Devolution Day.

If a human must be remembered in regard to evolutionism, it should be Francesco Redi who scientifically disproved the superstition of creating life from non-living things, like maggots from dead meat in 1665.  Darwin ignored Redi's science, but American school children should not.
