Principal

The 9th grade class picture reveals an angry young man (upper left corner) who detested school. By God's grace, in about twelve years I had the love of Jesus in my heart and sat behind the desk of a public school principal (Walton Elementary, Roane County). I was a successful principal at that large elementary school before deciding I was called to be a teacher.

Christian School

Before the principalship above, after three years as a public school teacher God called me to help build a Christian school from the ground up. The photo is the early stages of Fair Haven Christian School where I spent my first year as a teaching-principal. Also see "The Textbook War."
