THEY ROAR, WE IGNORE

By Karl Priest March 22, 2009 (revised 3-12-14)

On March 19 I attended a pro-life rally at the West Virginia State Capitol.

I admire the efforts of West Virginia Right to Life folks, but at the rally I was struck with the futility of maintaining only the strategy that has been used for years.

Even more over-whelming to my emotions was observing the young people who are involved in the right-to-life movement. Probably, the youth at the rally are strong (as much as a young person can be) and hopefully all of them attend home or truly Christian schools.

Please read why I sorrowfully must tell you, my friends, why those few young people are not going to be able to move the pro-life movement very far in the future.

The theme of the rally was support for HB 3159 which would prohibit West Virginia tax money being used to pay for abortions except for “the federally required instances of rape, incest or when the mother's life is in danger.” What does that say? It is fine to kill babies conceived by rape or incest.

Now I know the WV pro-life folks do not feel that way. Their strategy is to save as many lives as they can. But, it is time for (I almost hate to use the word) CHANGE!

A three hour rally once or twice a year, a one time one-hour Chain of Life, and giving a few politicians photo-opportunities with pro-life leaders will not defeat the forces have impeded our efforts since Roe v. Wade. With the new political situation, we are in danger of tremendous losses.

It is as if we are using a spoon to dig away the muck (look up that definition) that the opposition is piling up with an end-loader.

Our enemy is roaring. We must stop ignoring the only human solution.

I will tell you that solution after I show you how the enemy roars.

A pro-death group issued a 2008 report that revealed West Virginia high school students have a “higher rate of sexual activity than the national average--53 percent vs. 47 percent.” (http://www.wvfree.org/docs/Final_Teen_Pregnancy_Paper_Nov2008.pdf)

Next, the website Sex,etc has this information for West Virginia students:

>You do not need a prescription from a doctor or health care provider to get a pregnancy test…You can also take a pregnancy test at a doctor’s office or clinic, like Planned Parenthood. Many clinics offer free or reduced-fee pregnancy tests.

>All visits to Title X clinics are confidential for teens and adults. They will not share your records with your parents or your family doctor (or anyone else) without your permission.

>If you pay for your visit by using your family’s health insurance, then your parents are likely to see the bill when it arrives in the mail. Almost all clinics provide free or sliding-scale fee services to teens in order to make it easier for teens to pay with cash.

>To make sure your visit is confidential, tell the clinic staff how to contact you about test results and future appointments without your parents knowing.

>Beware of crisis pregnancy centers. (emphasis is theirs) These centers claim to give you complete and accurate information about your pregnancy options when, in reality, their agenda is to discourage you from getting an abortion. They offer misleading and medically inaccurate information about abortion.

> West Virginia state law does require sexuality education. Local school boards decide which subjects this education must cover and the grade level in which topics are introduced.

>Teaching about contraceptives, such as condoms, the Pill, or the Patch, is also required, but does not need to be stressed.

>Want to see comprehensive sex ed classes in your school? You can make a difference! Learn more about sex ed in WV at SIECUS.org, get in contact with a local org like the ACLU of West Virginia and be sure to download our Roadmap.

You may have read past the acronym SIECUS which stands for Sexuality Information and Education Center of the Untied States.

Here is where the roar report starts.

SIECUS (along with the ACLU, NARAL, and Planned Parenthood form the Four Horsemen of Hell. In this article I will only discuss SIECUS.

SIECUS clearly discloses its mission on their website where there are several links to homosexual organizations along with this: “SIECUS views comprehensive sexuality education that includes unbiased information about sexual orientation and gender identity as a vital step toward educating individuals and changing society (bold type is mine). (http://www.siecus.org/index.cfm?fuseaction=Page.viewPage&pageId=591&parentID=477)

SIECUS is roaring about the 2008 election results. In their own words from its 2008 Annual Report.:

>Those of us who ardently support sexual and reproductive health and rights also happily watched as our country elected a President who publicly and proudly supports age-appropriate, comprehensive sex education. Further, we gained supportive voices for sex education, family planning, choice, and lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender rights in Congress. Finally, pro-choice colleagues around the country celebrated the defeat of all three anti-choice ballot propositions in the states of California, Colorado, and South Dakota.

After bemoaning a few setbacks in same sex marriage and adoptions by “gay, lesbian, and non-married heterosexual people” the report brags:

>In fact, if we look over the years between 1964 and now, progress has been remarkable.

>There is opportunity before us like none we have seen before. A supportive President. More voices in Congress…

SIECUS knows who their enemy is and refers to folks like me as the “right wing”. That, to them, is an insult. Nevertheless, we cannot ignore that they have an active plan to defeat us.

>Our 2007 annual review of the Right Wing’s opposition to sexual and reproductive health and rights was released in April 2008 and looked at key developments globally on topics including abortion, family planning, condoms, sex education, sexual orientation, and traditional marriage promotion.

>launched the online version of its International Right Wing Watch.

In the report SIECUS continues to roar as it brags about how it:

>released a special report titled Legalized Discrimination: The Rise of the Marriage-Promotion Industry and How Federally Funded Programs Discriminate Against Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Youth and Families.

>hosted a series of web-based development sessions for school health professionals that were very well received.

>(their) website, www.SexEdLibrary.org, attracted more than 70,000 educators worldwide, providing lesson plans, resources, and other teaching tools.”

>helped a New Hampshire teacher work to convince her school board to allow sexuality education teachers to talk about sexual orientation and abortion.

>shared reviews of abstinence-only programs with a representative from Planned Parenthood of Arkansas and Eastern Oklahoma who was working with a state legislator to bring attention to the faults of these programs.

>traveled the country discussing the perils of abstinence-only-until-marriage with a variety of audiences, including: the New York City Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Community Center’s national Causes in Common conference, which brings together advocates from the reproductive justice and LGBT liberation movements

>(assisted the) NARAL New York’s TORCH teen peer educators.”

In case you haven’t noticed the SIECUS focus upon young people (i. e. our children) the report has a “Back to School” section with an attack on what most parents teach and a slam of biblical morality. SIECUS is highly critical of Game Plan (an abstinence program) because it teaches students “that just because other people are doing it (having sex), they should not compromise their values.”

Then SIECUS promotes promiscuity. Read their own words:

>In preparation for our fall 2008 “Back to School” briefing, we closely reviewed the revised versions of Game Plan, one of the most popular and widely used abstinence-only-until-marriage curricula… many (moral authorities) throughout the world think it is wholly appropriate for two adults to have safe, consensual sex outside of marriage. Moreover, 48% of all high school students and 65% of high school seniors have engaged in sexual activity. It is unfair to imply that these teens are impure or lack self-control and that others should lose respect for them.

>Reasonable Reasons to Wait (another abstinence only program) also quite simply lies to young people. For example, page 178 of the student workbook of Reasonable Reasons to Wait states “People who have engaged in premarital sex are likely to associate sex with guilt, shame, or fear (“from knowing that they’ve done something wrong”)…

SIECUS wields a tremendous amount of power (they have a mountain top removal size end-loader) and are not bashful about bragging about it. They inadvertently admit how they use the media to brain-wash the public.

>This year, we helped over 300 reporters and appeared in nearly 1,000 media outlets.”

For those of you interested in “End Times” one-world government associations SIECUS provides you with where it stands.

>Throughout the year, SIECUS cultivated a relationship with the United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), which is developing a worldwide, multi-year, school-based initiative focused on sex, relationships, and HIV education.”

When I was a public school teacher I witnessed how groups like SIECUS sneak into the schools like roaches coming through tiny cracks. The West Virginia Attorney General’s office endorsed an anti-bullying curriculum. Our atheist building principal hood-winked the two Christian sponsors of our middle school FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes) to lead the program. When the staff was exposed to a pro-homosexual video at an in-service meeting I was able to expose the duplicity of the program.

That incident was at the beginning of the aggressive homosexual movement to reach the hearts and minds of public school children.

I guarantee you that they (homosexual and abortionist activists) have not let up and there is no hope whatsoever for moral citizens to stop their agenda from sweeping through West Virginia schools.

This brings us to the strategy that we can no longer ignore.

We must rescue our children!

Our only hope is for Christian parents to get their children to the safety of home and Christian schools. Please see "Call to Dunkirk" at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hRGZLSVph3A. If this rescue is successful we can raise a generation that will be part of all parts of society (especially government, media, judicial, and entertainment) that will be able to stifle that roar as was done by our forefathers after the real Dunkirk rescue.

The enemy is roaring.

We cannot go on ignoring our only logical response.

CALLING THE CHURCH TO THE “40-40 FACE the FACTS” OUTREACH

Addenda

As I predicted, the homosexual agenda is sweeping through West Virginia schools.  See the news item for April 16, 2009.

Other warnings were issued on January 27, 2008 ("When Teacher Groups Unite--Look Out") and February 6, 2008 ("Teacher Unions are the Big Problem" as well as May 27, 2007 ("Guest Column") and July 31, 2007 ("Change in Schools Put Kids at Risk").

This is not about tolerance. This is about a return to the days of Lot.  Public school children will now be openly recruited into that perverted lifestyle.
