The smoke has cleared after the signing of the omnibus education bill (Inaccurately called the “ Student Success Act.”) nothing has changed. Taxpayers still have their heads in the sand and teacher unions have their hands in taxpayers’ pockets. Most importantly a very large amount of West Virginia public school students will not succeed.

LETTER TO SOME WEST VIRGINIA PAPERS  

[After sending this to the Charleston Gazette-Mail on 12-27-18 a friend suggested that I sent it to some other newspapers.  I got a Google Alert that it was published in the January 1 Huntington Herald Dispatch.  I am not sure if it was in the print edition. They left out my ID as the Exodus Mandate representative. The letter was published by the Charleston Gazette-Mail on January 24, 2019 (pg. 5A). It included my ID as the Exodus Mandate representative. It was beside a Star Parker op-ed “Parental Choice in Education is Vital.” If I find that my letter was published in another paper, I will post it.]

This letter began as a criticism of liberalism.  There is much to criticize.  For example, most liberals religiously claim to be pro-science while fanatically enforcing the anti-science of evolutionism, preborn baby non-humanity, and gender absurdities. 

Liberal politics are destroying America.  However, the ultimate blame for America’s woes lies in the pulpits and pews of churches.  Liberals won’t send their children to an conservative Christian Sunday School one hour per week, but Christians send their children to the liberal controlled public schools for more than thirty hours per week! 

I cannot say it any better than this liberal:  "I am convinced that the battle for humankind’s future must be waged and won in the public school classroom by teachers who correctly perceive their role as the proselytizers of a new faith…” (John J. Dunphy.  “A Religion for a New Age.”  The Humanist. January-February, 1983)

Conservatives and Christians need to rescue their children.
